This is the main bee yard during the summer of 2018. 
Here you can see the bear fence that we installed in 2018. We have had some bear sightings not far from our area, and it is always easier to deter bears BEFORE they have tasted the honey! 
On humid summer nights, the bees take to the front porch much like people do. 
Here is Darryl trying to capture a swarm from a local tree. 
Here is one of our bees gathering nectar and pollen from some flowers in our yard. If you look closely you can see the pollen that has dusted her head.

The bees love the Holly bushes in bloom. If you look closely you can see her tongue.
